Techville was chartered to showcase the visual landscape of Middle Tennessee’s technology industry. The visual representation demonstrates the strength of the technology community that is growing in Middle Tennessee.
As with any new city, a strategy must be developed and a strong foundation built to carry out that strategy and drive growth. During the planning phase, two levels of commitment were developed, City Council and Commissioner. These key players in our community made early commitments and have made this effort possible.
The Nashville Technology Council is a C6 non-profit organization devoted to helping the Middle Tennessee technology community succeed. With almost 400 member organizations, membership is open to technology companies, technology employers, service providers, educational institutions, and non-profit companies interested in supporting the growth of technology business in Middle Tennessee. Technology roundtables, educational initiatives, annual technology conferences, a technology job bank and other activities foster Nashville’s technology industry.
